Dear Friend,

As a way to continue to provide you with the level of dental service you deserve, I am excited to introduce Dr. Bethany Kronberg, a dental specialist who will practicing in my office starting August 12, 2010.

Dr. Kronberg, is a prosthodontist, one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. There are approximately 3200 prosthodontists in the United States, making their particular specialty much in demand. Prosthodontists are uniquely qualified to replace missing teeth, so that even if not every natural tooth is present, a healthy, natural-looking smile can be provided. A prosthodontist is an architect of the smile, and with the extra, three years of training beyond usual dental school, a prosthodontist can handle complex cases of wear and reconstruction.

Dr. Kronberg received her education at Loma Linda University in Southern California and is continuing to pursue even higher levels of credentialing through the Master’s program. She is constantly working to stay at the cutting edge of her field. Dr. Kronberg will expand our services to include TMJ treatment, help for sleep difficulties, cosmetic implants and much more.

Dr. Kronberg grew up in Portland, Oregon and did her undergraduate degree at Westmont College in Santa Barbara with her dental education at Loma Linda University prior to her prosthodontic training. She originally pursued the prosthodontic specialty to provide excellent general dentistry. She has a heart for helping people restore their smiles. She is married to Ben Kronberg, who is finishing his advanced training in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Kronberg and I became acquainted at several of the professional education classes I have been attending, and I have followed her career. I have found her to be very ethical and compassionate and our philosophies about dentistry are very similar.

For your benefit, we will be reviewing my patients treatment plans to find the most ideal long term plan and any acceptable phased treatment or modifications. Dr. Kronberg is exceptionally skilled in the area of dentures and partials and looks forward to planning very esthetic, comfortable removable replacements. While she will be receiving referrals from other general dentists in the area, she will make our patients her priority in scheduling. Dr. Kronberg will be handling comprehensive care in all facets from routine fillings to the more complex cases. I am sure you will appreciate her gentle care.

In addition to the expertise of a skilled prosthodontist, I am now able to offer extended days, including Saturdays. You can call my office to get information regarding days and times of my new schedule. I have noticed that during this challenging time, it is more difficult for some families to arrange time off for their health priorities, so I am pleased to be able to offer not only the evening appointments, but Saturdays as well.
